NCCA High School Robotics Team, the TechnoCrusaders, has been in existence since 2011. We compete in the FIRST Technical Challenge (FTC) program. Our competition season starts in September and can culminate in April at the FTC Worlds Competition.

FTC is an exciting and fun robotics program that ignites an enthusiasm for Science, technology and discovery in young people. This class provides hands-on learning as students design, build and program a robot using sound engineering principles. Using the Tetrix building kit and RobotC programming, the class will build a robot to compete head-to-head in the FTC competition. While working as a group, students will develop skills in problem solving, time management, documentation, teamwork and gracious professionalism.

NCCA has an award winning team. Awards the team has won include: the Inspire, PTC Design, Rockwell Collins Innovate, Think, Winning Alliance, Motivate, and Finalist Awards.
